What happens if the water flow of a high pressure cleaner suddenly weakens or stops during cleaning? How can I deal with it?

Publish Time: 2024-12-17
When the water flow of a high-pressure cleaner suddenly weakens or interrupts during the cleaning process, there are many possible reasons. The following are some common reasons and their corresponding treatment methods:

1. Possible reasons

Insufficient water supply: The water level in the water tank is too low, and the water inlet pipe fails to replenish enough water in time.

There is a leak in the water inlet pipe, resulting in water flow loss. The water source pressure of the non-self-priming water pump is insufficient or the water inlet flow does not meet the use requirements of the pump.

Filter blockage: The water inlet filter has not been cleaned for a long time, and a large amount of impurities and dirt have accumulated. The air inside the water inlet filter is not exhausted when cleaning.

Nozzle blockage: Improper use of the nozzle, such as long-term use of high-pressure water flow to impact hard objects. The water quality is poor and contains more impurities and particulate matter.

High-pressure pump failure: The internal wearing parts of the high-pressure pump are worn, resulting in a decrease in the performance of the pump. The internal pipeline of the high-pressure pump is blocked, affecting the normal output of the water flow.

Pipeline problem: The high-pressure hose is aging, damaged or over-bent. The pipeline connection is loose or poorly sealed, resulting in leakage.

2. Treatment methods

Check the water supply: Check the water level in the water tank immediately. If it is too low, add water in time. Check whether there is leakage in the water inlet pipe. If there is leakage, replace the new water inlet pipe. For non-self-priming water pumps, check whether the water source pressure is sufficient and adjust the water inlet flow to meet the use requirements of the pump.

Clean the filter: Remove the water inlet filter and rinse it with clean water. If the filter is severely clogged, replace it with a new filter. Make sure there is no air residue in the filter after cleaning.

Clean the nozzle: Remove the nozzle and use a fine needle or special tool to clean the blockage inside the nozzle. If the nozzle is severely worn, replace it with a new nozzle.

Check the high-pressure pump: Open the water inlet of the high-pressure pump and check whether there is any abnormality in the pump, such as blockage, foreign matter, etc. If the internal wearing parts of the high-pressure pump are severely worn, replace new wearing parts. Clean the internal pipeline of the high-pressure pump to ensure that the pipeline is unobstructed.

Check the pipeline: Check whether the high-pressure hose is aging, damaged or over-bent. If so, replace it with a new hose. Check whether the pipe connection is loose or poorly sealed. If so, tighten the connection or replace the seal.

When the water flow of the high-pressure cleaner suddenly weakens or stops during the cleaning process, you should first check the water supply, filter, nozzle, high-pressure pump, pipe and other components for problems, and take appropriate measures according to the specific situation. If the problem is still not solved, it is recommended to contact professional technicians for repair.
